PEEPS Preschool
Our PEEPS (Program for Early Enrichment at Positive Synergy) classrooms are play-based. Children are supported to follow their interests, engage with their friends, and develop meaningful and lasting skills. Through the development of children’s pre-academic, social, communication, and motor skills, PEEPS aims to enable children to have successful transitions to school and build a strong foundation for the future.
We offer two class options. Little PEEPS sets the foundation for our younger learners to move into our PEEPS program which readies our learners for a transition into kindergarten.
Little PEEPS (2.9 – 4 years) M/W/F 8:30-11:30
PEEPS (4-6 years) M-F 12:30-3:30
Each PEEPS classroom is led by a team of professionals including a certified EEC Lead Teacher, BCBA, and Registered Behavior Technicians. Enrollment is limited to 12 children per class with a minimum child to teacher ratio of 4 to 1. Our classrooms are inclusive and open to all children.
The program follows a curriculum that utilizes ABA methodologies and evidence based practices. This curriculum actively engages learners within the context of meaningful activities well matched to their developmental levels, strengths, needs, interests & preferences. The curriculum combines play and literacy based activities using a story at its core and expanding to include activities targeting language, social, cognitive & early academic skills. While many of the activities can be presented in a way that focuses on independent work tasks, the primary goal is to facilitate social interactions, scaffolding social language and social behaviors through naturalistic interventions and play based learning experiences.
